DAN KOHOKO is a member of the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation at Golden Lake in Ontario. Since 1970 he has accumulated a great deal of experience and knowledge working in both Public and Private Sector organizations; ten years of which have been at the executive level.
Between 1970 and 1982 Dan worked in government for several departments at both the headquarters and local offices. They include, the Dept. of Indian Affairs, the Secretary of State Dept. and Employment and Immigration. In 1982 he left government to take on the Executive Director position with the National Association of Friendship Centres, staying for two years before moving into management consulting under the name Kohoko Enterprises. His main client base included First Nation Governments as well as the Federal and Provincial levels. In 1992, after having worked in a consulting capacity to help set up comprehensive land claim negotiations for his home community, Dan signed on as one of three negotiators. He became the Director of Negotiations before leaving in 1996 to take on a special project with DIAND. As Director of Special Projects, he worked closely with AFN officials and technicians on a joint proposal which he recommended to government. The proposal would have speeded up and improved the integrity of the processes for negotiating /resolving specific claims and it would have improved and updated the Federal Specific Claims Policy itself.
Dan brings experience at the Executive and at the Director level from a variety of boards to his current work with the Assembly of First Nations in the AFN/INAC Joint Initiative for Policy Development Lands, Trusts, Services Unit.

Anne Noonan, an Oji-Cree from Ontario. She has worked extensively with Aboriginal communities and groups, federal and provincial governments, and corporations in promoting Aboriginal interests.

From 1991-1997, Ms. Noonan served on the Board of Directors of Ontario Hydro.

Member, National Aboriginal Management Board (Employment and Immigration Canada)

Member, Board of Directors, Canadian Hunger Foundation Member, Circle of Aboriginal Business Leaders (Bank of Montreal) Member, Board of Directors, Women Business Owners of Canada Inc.

Ms. Noonan brings a deep understanding of Aboriginal issues from both a policy and business perspective.

A.R.V. (Gus) Ribeiro, M.Eng., P.Eng., has been in consulting engineering for over 20 years.

Mr. Ribeiro is directly involved with the day-to-day operations of Nika Technologies and provides corporate expertise in CAE applications in civil engineering and GIS. His work has prompted invitations to speak at various conferences and universities.

Since 1989, he has been directly responsible for international marketing and was responsible for the development of the GWN Systems Inc. distribution network in Europe and Asia. Consequently, he has developed an extensive knowledge of the needs and requirements for GIS applications around the world. In 1993, he also took over corporate responsibility for research and development

Mr. Ribeiro founded Ecos Engineering Services Ltd. in 1980 and has worked on mainframes and microcomputers since his undergraduate days. He has developed a number of engineering design software packages, two which are marketed by GWN.

Because of his efforts to promote the use of advanced Canadian technology around the world, Mr. Ribeiro was awarded the 125 Commemorative Medal by the Governor General of Canada for service to Canada.
