Basic Internet Development - This course is a three day introduction to Internet personal website development. They will be sufficiently trained to act as a Webmaster in a corporate environment. LOCAL AREA NETWORKINGNetwork Administrator - This is a five-day course to prepare an individual to support a corporate LAN. The requirements for this course are an advanced understanding of personal computer technology. This includes DOS (Disk Operating System) and Windows 95. The student should also have a basic understanding of the integral components of the PC. Topics covered are:
At the end of the course students will have the necessary skills to support a corporate LAN. They will be sufficiently trained to maintain the network environment and to support the users. Also they will have the necessary skills to troubleshoot most software applications and hardware components used on the LAN. GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMSIntroduction to GIS – This course is a two-day introduction to Geographic Information Systems using generic Windows based GIS tools.
